When you know a specific home is for sale or rent, you need to get on the waiting list for the municipality. In most cases, there is a waiting list and we will contact you when we get to your name. If there is no waiting list, the home may appear on your Affordable Homes New Jersey Profile where you can fill an interest form to visit the home
25 Aug: What happens if I purchase or rent an affordable home and I get married or my income changes in the future?
The New Jersey affordable housing regulations do not require an annual certification. Your rent will not increase or decrease if your income changes after you move. Likewise, if you own an affordable home, you will not be required to sell your home if your household income increases.
